Yes. Hard water is one of the most common problems for well owners. The High Efficiency Water Softener can provide all the benefits of water softening for those who get their water from a private well as well as those with municipal water.
This water softening system was designed to primarily address hard water. If you want a system that both softens your hard water and filters specific contaminants, the Aquasential® Smart High-Efficiency Municipal Water Softener (which also addresses chlorine) or the Aquasential® Smart High Efficiency Softener-Cleer (which targets iron as well) may be right for your home.

Experts often recommend that home water softener users should check their brine tank at least once a month. If the tank appears to be less than half-full, it may be a good idea to add some more salt, but be careful to not overfill the tank. Keep in mind that older softeners may regenerate more frequently, while newer models sometimes include brine tank monitors and regenerate more efficiently based on demand.

High efficiency water softeners from Agua Pura are equipped with advanced technology such as our proprietary Aqua-Sensor to offer a unique advantage to optimize resources — like salt, water and electricity — to save you money and protect the planet.
Agua Pura’s trained technicians provide full-service installation to make it simple to get started with your new system. Your local Agua Pura water expert will connect your high efficiency water softener to your water supply, electrical, drain and the salt-filled brine tank, and you’ll be all set. The average installation takes about 2-4 hours.
Water softeners come in various sizes, and making sure that you have the right kind for your needs is important. Getting the right size will allow you to make sure that you can soften your water sufficiently without losing efficiency and wasting extra water and salt by regenerating too often.
The best way to accurately size your water softener is to work directly with a Agua Pura water expert to test your water, assess your flow rate and determine how much water your household uses on a regular basis. Generally speaking, harder water, higher water consumption and a greater number of taps running simultaneously mean that you’ll need a larger water softener. You don’t want to overshoot, though. Regular regeneration is also still required for optimal performance. Plus, larger units tend to cost more, meaning that purchasing an oversized softener might result in spending more money upfront than is necessary.
